The 2012 LHSAA/State Farm Prep Classic gets underway on Friday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, with five state title game on this weekend's schedule.

There are two state championship game slated for Friday, with three more on Saturday.

The Notre Dame Pioneers will battle Parkview Baptist in the Class 3A title game on Saturday at 4 o'clock. Notre Dame, the number two seed, is 12-1 on the year, with their only loss coming in early September, in a 14-10 setback to Teurlings, while Parkview Baptist, the top-seed, is unbeaten, at 12-0.

On Friday afternoon, action begins with the the Class 1A championship game, featuring top-seeded Ouachita Christian and second-seeded Haynesville at 4 o'clock.

Also on Friday night, it's the Class 4A title game, featuring top-seeded Neville and second-seeded Edna Karr. That game is set to begin at approximately 8 pm.

On Saturday, action begins at noon, with top-seeded John Curtis taking on second-seeded Evangel Christian in the Class 2A championship game.

At 4 pm, it will be time for Notre Dame to go after the Class 3A state crown, as they battle Parkview Baptist.

The final game of the weekend will feature top-seeded Archbishop Rummel taking on second-seeded Barbe in the Class 5A title game, which is set for 8 o'clock on Saturday evening.
