Life Sentence Handed Down In New Iberia Murder Case

Today Keith Leleux pleaded guilty to killing Judy Blanchard Landry in July of 2008. According to our news partner KATC,the guilty plea by Leleux was entered after the death penalty was taken off the table by Iberia Parish prosecutors. Leleux admitted to choking Landry to death in her home during a robbery that netted $200. Leleux will serve out his sentence without the possibility of parole, probation or suspension.
