Matthew Magliaccio was just practicing at a Little League game when his life turned a little weird.  His coach told him to start warming, and so he did.  He was a catcher and just warming up a pitcher.  He threw a ball, it went wild and hit a woman in the face sitting at a picnic table.  According to Fox News, now this woman is suing.

"Elizabeth Lloyd is seeking more than $150,000 in damages to cover medical costs stemming from the incident at a Manchester Little League game two years ago. She's also seeking an undefined amount for pain and suffering."  Yep!  She is suing this little eleven year old kid! I am sorry this lady got hurt, but you are at a ball park!  You may be at a picnic table, but you are at a ball park.  This woman's husband is even suing for, "loss of services, society and consortium".  Lloyd has filed two suits, her husband has filed one.  To me it is just crazy.  Shouldn't you assume some responsibility?  You are at a park.  What if a stray soccer ball had hit her?  I am sure she would be suing.

The insurance cover players, coaches and the like, but it does not cover people at the park.  The boy's father says it is amazing to him that it just keeps going.  It's been two years since this all started, and the cases are still going.  The couple wants a jury trial.

I think it is just simple.  I am sorry this person got hurt.  It is a shame, but you were at a place where people play, and they play sports, you might get hit.  There, I solved it.  Get your face fixed, and get over it.
