Local pediatrician, Dr. Nicole Michael is a native of Haiti. She has a practice in Eunice. She is also a member of a group of doctors who run a medical clinic in the mountains in coastal Haiti. Dr. Michael says that clinic suffered wind damage. They lost all crops, trees, and livestock. Many of the homes are gone in their little area, but no loss of life and the clinic survived.

According to reports from the ground there, famine will probably take many lives in the days and months to come.

Dr. Michael has teamed up with a team from a church in Miami with the resources to ship donations into the affected regions. Here is what they need:

  • Baby Food
  • Dry Food (Beans, Rice, No Canned Food)
  • Medical Supplies (Basic First Aid)
  • Hygiene Products
  • Batteries
  • Flash Lights
  • School Supplies
  • Generators
  • Building Materials
  • Monetary donations
