Local Fundraiser Honors Acadiana Man

Each year, Carol Trosclair works tirelessly to raise funds for a scholarship in her son David's name.

In 2010, Carol was devastated to get the news that her son had died.

The young man had flu-like symptoms, and the remedies he took stopped his heart.

It was Carol who went to get David's diploma on graduation day.  He was a senior majoring in Kinesiology, and he graduated Summa Cum Laude, posthumously.

Carol Trosclair joined Bernadette Lee and Rob Kirkpatrick on "Acadiana's Morning News" to talk about how she is raising funds to award scholarships at UL to Kinesiology students.
