Local Inventors – Entrepreneurs Invited to Innov8 Event

Some inventors and entrepreneurs “sit” on an idea for years or decades due to a lack of funding. These people are being invited to participate in the VAULT, Acadiana’s first Idea Pitch event.
Today on “Mornings With Ken & Bernie” Paul Mason and Pete Prados described the event as a chance for innovators to present their ideas to investors to enter into business partnership opportunities. The event will be held April 27, 2012 from 8:30am until 3:30pm at the Acadiana Center for the Arts in Downtown Lafayette. Mason said “even though the event is three weeks away interested inventors and entrepreneurs need to apply now because all ideas will be vetted and only 40 ideas will be presented to investors”.
