Long-Serving La. Board Of Regents Member Resigns

The longest serving member of the Louisiana Board of Regents, Roland Toups, has voluntary resigned amid pressure from the Jindal administration to make the board more diverse. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat calls the move one of the most amazing he's seen in his life of politics. In his letter of resignation, Toups says the administration asked him to resign essentially to make way for more diversity on the board.
