More people are taking advantage of early voting than they did four years ago. The Secretary of State's Office says more than 23,000 people turned out Saturday for the first day of early voting for the October primary in Louisiana. That's ten-thousand more than on the first day of early voting in 2007. However, it remains to be seen if the total for early voting breaks the 142-thousand mark recorded during the last governor's election.  Early voting ends Saturday.
