Louisiana Gets High Business Marks

Some good economic news for Louisiana. The Tax Foundation released a report yesterday that ranks the state second in the nation for new businesses and tenth for existing firms.  The report is an analysis of business tax burdens in each state. According to state economic development officials, this indicates a marked improvement in the state's tax competitiveness during the past few years.
