The State of Louisiana has gotten a rather dubious distinction.  The Pelican State has ranked 42nd out of 50 for states to do business in.  That continues the ranking that Louisiana received in 2011.  The study was put together by CNBC to find the top states for business.  Among the highlights of the rankings for the state were a high ranking for cost of living and cost of doing business.  However, low rankings in quality of life, business friendliness and access to capital kept the rating down to where it is.

What do you think?  Are the rankings accurate or is there room for improvement in business for the state?  Vote in our poll below and let us know what you think.
