With a 6-0 start in which they outscored opponents 65-4, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun softball team has moved up in both Top 25 polls released today.

Louisiana is up to #13 in both the USA Today/NFCA (up 2 spots from #15 last week), and the ESPN.com/USA Softball polls (up 5 spots from #18 last week).

Gerry Glasco's team relied on superb pitching and power hitting over the course of their first 6 games, including 2 wins last night against Pac-12 foe California.

Junior Summer Ellyson earned 4 wins in the circle, while freshmen hurler Kendra Lamb won 2 complete games of her own, not allowing a single hit in either contest.

The 13th ranked Cajuns continue their season this Friday at Lamson Park as they play host to the 33rd Annual Louisiana Classics.

Friday, they battle Jackson State at 4pm, followed by Austin Peay at 6:30.

Pregame begins at 3:45 on ESPN1420, espn1420.com and the ESPN1420 app.
