Louisiana Ranks Low In Unhealthy States List

Another list where Louisiana only ranks ahead of Mississippi. United Health Foundation's "America's Health Rankings" places the Bayou State 49th out of 50 states in health. The rankings were based on high school graduation rates, violent crime rates, rate of infectious disease, usage of early prenatal care, public funding, and access to health insurance and doctors. Meanwhile, the healthiest state in the country is Vermont.
