Louisiana State Medical Society Get New President

The Louisiana State Medical Society has a new president, and he's unique. Dr. Anthony Blalock, from Lafayette, is the youngest president the society has ever seen at the young age of 37.

The society has been around for 134 years.

Dr. Blalock is a kidney specialist and started in his new position late last month.
