Louisiana’s Unemployment Numbers Drop

The state's job numbers are in. The federal Bureau of Labor Statistics says last month's unemployment rate was 6.8 percent, down from 6.9 percent in November and 7.7 percent December of 2010. In addition, Louisiana without seasonal adjustments, had 47,400 more non-farm jobs last December than in December of 2010. That's a 2.5% increase.
