Lafayette Parish Schools will receive a helping hand in re-supplying its classrooms.
A district spokesman said the National Life Group, a private insurance company based in Montpelier, Vt., will be donating school supplies, manpower and a $10,000 donation to the Lafayette Parish School System.
National Life Group representatives will be making the donation at the N.P. Moss Preparatory School tomorrow as part of its Do Good Tour.
Lafayette is grateful for the donation of school supplies," said LPSS Chief Academic Officer Annette Samec. "Our community has been very generous with assisting our students and staff replacing supplies and school uniforms. We are very grateful to National Life Group for easing the burden by providing this donation, as well as, some replacement school supplies."
