LSU Baseball Sweeps Kansas to Start Season
The 2nd ranked LSU Tigers won Game 3 in a season-opening series on Sunday, coming from behind to beat Kansas 7-4 in Baton Rouge.
LSU had 12 hits, all singles, and scored four runs in the sixth inning to take the lead 7-4. Mark Laird had three singles as the lead-off hitter. The Tigers committed an uncharacteristic four errors in the game.
LSU will be back in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field on Wednesday against Nicholls.
