LSU Defeats Arkansas, 88-74

The LSU Tigers captured an SEC home win on Saturday, defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks, 88-74, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La.
The win comes off the heels of an 87-82 victory of Kentucky on Tuesday night, and gives the Tigers four wins in their last five games.
LSU led Arkansas at halftime, 40-25, before going to to the 14-point victory.
The Tigers out-shot the Razorbacks from the field, 55%-33%, while also finishing with a 45-33 rebounding advantage.
Johnny O'Bryant led the way for LSU, with 23 points and 9 rebounds, while Jordan Mickey added 22 points.
In a losing cause for Arkansas, Rashad Madden scored 17 points, while Bobby Portis and Kikko Haydar added 15 apiece.
With the victory, the Tigers improved to 14-6, overall, and 5-3 in SEC play, while the Razorbacks fell to 13-8, overall, and 2-6 in league play.
LSU returns to action on Thursday, when they travel to take on the Georgia Bulldogs.
