The LSU Tigers recorded an SEC home victory on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Auburn Tigers, 87-80, at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La.

The win moves LSU’s current home winning streak to five games, while putting an end to Auburn's modest modest three-game winning streak.

Auburn led at halftime, 33-32, before LSU outscored them in the second half, 55-47, to go on to the seven-point victory.

From the field, LSU out-shot Auburn, 46%-40%, while also finishing with a 46-35 rebounding advantage.

Johnny O'Bryant led the way for LSU, with 19 points and ten rebounds, while Andre Stringer added 18.

In a losing cause for Auburn, Chris Denson scored a game-high 29 points, while KT Harrell added 19.

With the victory, LSU improved to 15-7, overall, and 6-4 in SEC play, while Auburn fell to 11-10, overall, and 3-7 in league play.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, when they hit the road to take on the Texas A&M Aggies.
