LSU junior forward Shavon Coleman

The LSU Tiger men's basketball team is back in action on Wednesday evening, when coach Johnny Jones' squad plays host to the Texas A&M aggies, in SEC action at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, La.

LSU is still searching for their first conference win of the year, after falling to Georgia, 67-58, on Saturday, a loss which dropped them to 9-6 overall, and 0-4 in SEC play, while Texas A&M currently stands at 12-5 overall, and 2-2 in league play, after losing to Alabama last Saturday, 50-49.

The Tigers are led by junior forward Shavon Coleman, who is averaging 12.1 points, along with 8.0 rebounds-per-game, while the Aggies are paced by senior guard Elston Turner, who is averaging 16.1 points a contest.

LSU leads the all-time series, 14-11, in a series that dates back to 1917, but the two schools have only met nine times since 1981.
