LSU, who defeated Oral Roberts, 100-77, on Saturday night, is 6-4 on the young season, while American, who lost to Maryland-Eastern Shore, 79-64, last Sunday, is currently 2-8.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 85.5/78.6, and outshooting them from the floor, 47%/43%, while staying even in the rebounding department, 41.1/41.1.

LSU is led by senior guard Keith Hornsby, who is averaging who averaging 19.7 points, to go along with 3.0 rebounds-per-game, and freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging 18.7, and 13.9, respectively.

American is being outscored by opponents, 67.3/4.0, outshot by the opposition, 46%/44%, and outrebounded, 33.0/28.2.

The Eagles are paced by senior guard Jesse Reed, who is averaging 11.4 points, to go along with 4.3 rebounds contest.
