The 6th-ranked LSU Tigers are back in action on Saturday evening, when coach Les Miles’ squad plays host to the 8th-ranked Florida Gators in a key SEC match-up of unbeaten at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The game marks the final SEC home game for LSU in the month of October.

LSU ran their season-opening win streak to six games last Saturday, defeating the South Carolina Gamecocks, 45-24, to improve to 6-0, overall, while also improving to remaining 3-0 in SEC play.

Offensively, LSU is averaging 37.8 points, 468.4 total yards, 346.4 rushing yards, and 122.0 passing yards per game, while allowing 22.0 points, 291.4 total yards, 99.6 rushing yards, and 191.8 passing yards a contest, defensively.

LSU is led by sophomore running back Leonard Fournette, who has piled up 1,022 rushing yards, including 12 touchdowns, this season.

Florida, who defeated Missouri last week, 21-3, will come into the contest at 6-0, overall, while standing at 4-0 in conference play.

The Gators, offensively, are averaging 32.2 points per game, along with 384.7 yards, including 246.0 passing yards and 138.7 rushing yards, while allowing 14.3 points, 296.3 total yards, including 197.2 passing yards and 99.2 rushing yards.

Florida is paced by freshman quarterback Will Grier, who has thrown for 1,204 yards and 10 touchdowns, while rushing for another 116 yards and two scores.

Florida leads the all-time series, 31-27-3, but LSU has won the last two meetings, including four of the last five.

Kickoff time is set for 6 o'clock.
