The LSU Tigers return to action on Tuesday evening, when coach Johnny Jones’ squad plays host to the Kentucky Wildcats in an SEC match-up.

For LSU, it will be their first home conference game of the year.

Tipoff time is set for 8 o’clock.

LSU, who defeated Vanderbilt, 90-82, in their SEC opener on Saturday night, is 8-5, overall, and 1-0 in SEC play, while Kentucky, who beat Ole Miss, 83-61, in their SEC opener on Saturday night, is currently 11-2, and 1-0, respectively.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 84.2/76.6, and outshooting them from the floor, 48%/43%, while holding down a slim 39.0/38.6 rebound advantage.

LSU is led by freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging 20.5 points, to go along with 13.1 rebounds-per-game, and senior guard Keith Hornsby, who is averaging 17.5, and 2.0, respectively.

Kentucky is outscoring opponents, 78.5/65.8, while outshooting the opposition, 47%/40%, and holding down a 39.8/32.2 rebounding advantage.

The Wildcats are paced by freshman guard Jamal Murray, who is averaging 16.8 points, to go along with 4.6 rebounds contest.

Kentucky leads the all-time series, 86-25.
