The LSU Tigers return to action on Wednesday evening, when coach Johnny Jones’ squad plays host to the North Florida Ospreys in a non-conference match-up.

LSU, who fell to Charleston, 70-58, on Monday night, their third-consecutive loss, is 3-3 on the young season, while North Florida, who defeated Trinity Baptist, 80-72, on Monday night, is currently 6-2.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 80.4/73.8, and outshooting them from the floor, 44%/41%, while being outrebounded, 43.6/40.2.

LSU is led by freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging who averaging 16.2 points, to go along with 14.4 rebounds-per-game, and freshman guard Antonio Blakeney, who is averaging 16.6, and 4.6, respectively.

North Florida, members of the Atlantic Sun Conference, is outscoring opponents, 81.8/73.8, and outshooting the opposition, 47%/42%, while being outrebounded, 39.1/35.8.

The Ospreys are paced by sophomore forward Dallas Moore, who is averaging 20.3 points, to go along with 5.0 rebounds a contest.

The will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
