The 5th-ranked LSU Tigers are back in action on Saturday evening, when coach Les Miles’ squad plays host to the WKU Hilltoppers at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The game marks the final non-conference game for LSU this season.

LSU ran their season-opening win streak to six games last Saturday, defeating the Florida Gators, 35-28, to improve to 6-0, overall, while also improving to 4-0 in SEC play.

Offensively, LSU is averaging 37.3 points, 460.8 total yards, 325.5 rushing yards, and 135.3 passing yards per game, while allowing 23.0 points, 297.2 total yards, 92.2 rushing yards, and 205.0 passing yards a contest, defensively.

LSU is led by sophomore running back Leonard Fournette, who has piled up 1,202 rushing yards, including 14 touchdowns, this season.

WKU, who defeated North Texas, 55-28, back on October 15, will come into the contest at 6-1, overall, while standing at 4-0 in Conference USA play.

The Hilltoppers, offensively, are averaging 44.0 points per game, along with 535.6 yards, including 407.1 passing yards and 128.4 rushing yards, while allowing 24.0 points, 439.3 total yards, including 265.4 passing yards and 173.9 rushing yards.

WKU is paced by senior quarterback Brandon Doughty, who has thrown for 2,709 yards, along with 24 touchdowns.

LSU leads the all-time series, 1-0, having defeated WKU, 42-9, in 2011, in the only other previous meeting.

Kickoff time is set for 6 o’clock.
