The LSU Tiger men's basketball team hits the road on Saturday, when they travel to Starkville, Mississippi, to take on the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, in an SEC contest.

LSU defeated Missouri, 73-70, in Baton Rouge on Wednesday night, to improve to 11-7 overall, and 2-5 in SEC play, while Mississippi St., who will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak, is currently 7-12 overall, and 2-5 in league play.

Sophomore guard Anthony Hickey leads the Tigers in scoring, averaging 12.4 points-per-game, while freshman guard Fred Thomas paces the Bulldogs at 10.4 points a contest.

The two teams split a two-game series last year, with each team winning on their respective home courts.

This will be the first of two meetings between the two schools this year, with Mississippi St. returning the visit to LSU on Saturday, February 16.

Tip-off time is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
