According to NBC 33 TV in Baton Rouge, LSU Tiger running back Jeremy Hill was arrested last night at Reggie's Bar in Baton Rouge.

Hill, 21, was charged for alleged battery. Leading the Tigers in rushing last season with 755 yards and 12 touchdowns, the Baton Rouge native is regarded as one of the most talented sophomores in college football heading into the 2013 season.

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette released the following statement on the matter: ""Coach Miles is on his way back to Baton Ruge to find out exactly what happened. Until he has a chance to visit with Jeremy, he's going to reserve comment."

Miles is currently in New York city as part of the NFL Networks' 2013 draft coverage.
