The 19th-ranked LSU Tigers return to action on Tuesday afternoon, taking on the North Carolina St. Wolfpack in the Legends Classic.

Tipoff time at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York is set for 4:30 pm.

LSU, who fell to Marquette, 81-80, on Monday night, in the first semifinal of the event, is 3-1 on the young season, while North Carolina St., who fell to Arizona St., 79-76, is 2-2.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 82.5/71.5, and outshooting them from the floor, 46%/42%, while being outrebounded, 41.0/40.0.

LSU is led by freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging who averaging 19.3 points, to go along with 14.5 rebounds-per-game, and freshman guard Antonio Blakeney, who is averaging 18.0, and 5.0, respectively.

North Carolina St. outscoring opponents, 78.3/70.3, while outshooting the opposition, 43%/38%, and holding down a 45.7/40.3 rebound edge.

The Wolfpack is paced by sophomore forward Caleb Martin, who averaging 18.3 points, to go along with 5.3 rebounds a contest.

Oddly, this will mark only the second time ever that LSU and North Carolina St. will meet on the basketball court, with the Wolfpack capturing a 66-65 win over the Tigers in the first round of last year's NCAA Tournament.
