The LSU Tigers return to action on Saturday afternoon, when coach Johnny Jones’ squad travels to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in an SEC match-up.

Tipoff time at Coleman Coliseum is set for 1 o’clock.

LSU, who fell to Texas A&M, 71-57, on Tuesday night, is 11-7, overall, and 4-2 in SEC play, while Alabama, who lost to Auburn, 83-77, on Tuesday night, is currently 10-7, and 1-4, respectively.

The Tigers are outscoring the opposition, 81.4/75.4, and outshooting them from the floor, 47%/44%, while holding down a 39.5/37.8 rebound advantage.

LSU is led by freshman forward Ben Simmons, who is averaging 19.4 points, to go along with 12.8 rebounds-per-game, and senior guard Keith Hornsby, who is averaging 13.6, and 2.4, respectively.

Alabama is being outscored by opponents, 66.9/66.7, as well as being outshot, 35%/34%, and outrebounded, 37.2/34.4.

The Crimson Tide is are paced by senior guard Retin Obasohan, who is averaging 14.5 points, to go along with 3.5 rebounds a contest.
