LSU’s Arden Key Joins The Bednarik Award Watch List

LSU sophomore linebacker Arden Key joined a nominee list today for a prestigious college football award.

Key officially joins the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list, the Maxwell Football Club announced this morning.

The Bednarik Award is presented to the best defensive player in college football after the regular season.

Key joins three teammates who are already on the watch list in safety Jamal Adams, linebacker Kendell Beckwith and cornerback Tre'Davious White.

With 7 sacks on the season, he currently leads the SEC in that category, and ranks 5th best in the nation.

His three forced fumbles is 6th best in the country, and ranks first in the SEC.
