The Cajun Jeepers, in conjunction with Louisiana Jeepers and Bon Temps Jeep Club, presents "Lunch for Oklahoma", a jambalaya plate lunch fundraiser for the victims of the recent storms in Oklahoma.

Tonny Touchet, board member for Cajun Jeepers,  said it best:

"When we had storms here, like Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, people from all over the country sent donations.  They held bake sales and car washes just to raise money to send to us.  We can do something to help them."

The Jambalaya plate lunches will be served drive-thru style in Broussard at Celebrity Theatres, right between Highway 90 and Main Street (Hwy 182), with easy-in and easy-out access. Suggested donation for plate lunches is $7 each, but feel free to donate any amount over that with which you feel comfortable.

Volunteers are still needed for the "Lunch for Oklahoma" event, and, even if you can't purchase a lunch that day, you can still help:  if you own, or know someone who owns a grocery store or a business who would care to make a cash donation, or donate items needed to make the day a success (plates, utensils, jambalaya fixins, beverages, etc), please contact Tonny Touchet at (337) 315-1537, or via email at tonnytouchet@att.net
