LUS Fiber will take out another $14-million in bonds to help serve new customers. That move was approved by the City-Parish Council last night.

Voters had approved a $125-million bond back in 2005 to begin building the fiber infrastructure, but so far, LUS fiber has only used about $110-million of that.

LUS Fiber offers phone, internet, and TV services to residential and business customers within the Lafayette city limits.
