Major Snowstorm Hits Northeast

BOSTON (AP) — Many people in the Northeast who plan to still go to work this morning face a messy and possibly slippery commute.

A post-Christmas storm has dumped nearly two feet of snow in some places and resulted in more than 2,300 flight cancellations.

Many kids are getting an extended holiday vacation.

State offices will be closed today in Massachusetts.
