We talked about taking the time to make your own dressing on today’s program.  Personal Chef Jon Soileau said,

If you get yourself involved in making some of these things, you’re really gonna wanna try what you’ve made.  You’ll find that some of the things that you did not care for as much before, you can learn to appreciate more because you are involved in putting it together.

Chef Soileau talked about making your own mayo, vinaigrette or other simple dressings.  Since there are so many recipes out there, Soileau suggests that you search some online sources for dressing recipes.

In making a vinaigrette, Chef Soileau suggested mixing things up by using different kinds of oils or mixing things up.  You can also mix in an egg yolk to make it more creamy rather than an oil based vinaigrette only.
