BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A 59-year-old Zachary man who allegedly told several people that he was a federal agent has been arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on counts of impersonating a police officer.

According to an arrest warrant, George Norwood made the claim to a number of people.

The Advocate reports (http://bit.ly/1dpFaSZ) one victim told deputies Norwood showed up at her house on Aug. 18 and identified himself as a U.S. marshal. The victim said he displayed a five-point badge hanging from his neck and demanded to see her sons.

She said Norwood kept fiddling with the badge so she could not read it and screamed and cursed at her when she told him her sons were not home.

It was unclear whether Norwood has an attorney.
