The Scott Police Department reports that an officer at an Exxon on Ambassador Caffery heard loud music, and when the officer went to investigate, he found some inconsistent information about a car.

The officer started talking to 36-year-old Jamian Russell who was pumping gas into the car with the loud music.

The vin number on the car's temporary tag and the vin on the car did not match.

The officer then found out the car had been reported stolen in Lafayette.

Russell told the officer that he had given his cousin $100 to borrow the car for three days, but he couldn't give the officer his cousin's name or address.

Russell was arrested for unauthorized use of a moveable.
