Man Arrested In Connection With Dead Body Found In Centerville Field

An update to a tragic story that began nearly three weeks ago. KPEL reported a man, later identified as Mark Berthelot of Bayou Vista, was found dead in a cane field off Highway 317 in Centerville. Now, St. Mary Parish Authorities have charged Darby Frickey with 2nd degree murder after they say he admitted to the murder. Berthelot had been missing since November 10th.
