Man Dead Following Accident At Lafayette Home Furniture Warehouse

LAFAYETTE, La (KPEL) -- Lafayette Police report that a 25-year-old man was killed Friday morning stemming from injuries received while working at the Home Furniture Distribution Center on Pont des Mouton Rd.

According to Lafayette Police Cpl. Paul Mouton, some type of equipment fell on the victim while he was on the loading dock.

The victim's name has not been released, Mouton said.
