Man Fires At Another Man Getting A Haircut At A Lafayette Home

Lafayette Police Corporal Paul Mouton tells KPEL that a 19-year-old man was shot in the front yard of home on Hilda Street while he was getting a haircut.

Mouton says the suspect, 35-year-old Kenyatta Edmond, has been arrested for walking up to the man and firing several shots at him.

He is being charged with attempted murder.

Mouton says they do know the two men had an earlier dispute with one another.
