Man Found Dead Inside Car In NO Neighborhood

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans' homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man, whose body was found in the driver's seat of a car.

Police say the victim, whose name has not been released, was discovered just before 9 a.m. Thursday. Authorities say he had been shot several times and died on the scene.

Police say a weapon was recovered at the scene.
