Man In Rush Allegedly Shoots At Car In Front Of Him

It appears road rage got the best of 30-year-old Jeroswaski Collette of New Iberia on Sunday.

That's according to Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, who says Collette has been booked for Assault By Drive By Shooting after he allegedly tailgated someone, while driving erratically, and shot multiple times at the victim's vehicle when he passed him.

Higgins says the victim, who was traveling from New Iberia on Highway 182, reported the incident around 1:45 p.m.

There were no injuries in the incident.
