Man Indicted For 2006 Deaths Of Eunice Couple

Warren Ray Gautreaux has been indicted for killing an elderly couple from Eunice over six years ago. Gautreaux was charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 83-year-old Youric Courville and 70-year-old Mary Courville of Eunice.

A neighbor discovered the couple's bodies inside their home on Jan. 10, 2006.

A second man, Quinten Ceasar, was arrested by the Eunice Police Department late last year for his alleged involvement in the case, but the charges were dismissed against him in January of 2012. The judge cited a lack of probable cause in the case.

Police suspected the couple died during a burglary of their home.
