An early morning shooting leaves one in the hospital and one in jail. Lafayette Police say Robert Dixon arrived at his ex-girlfriends early this morning and caused a disturbance, but left for a little while. Authorities say when he returned, he had a gun and began firing at the house. He struck the shoulder of a male friend of the victim twice and fled the scene. The police caught up to him shortly and he is being accused of Attempted Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
