Man Killed Saturday In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A 23-year-old man was found dead Saturday on the porch of a home in New Orleans' Mid-City.

Police responded to a report that a man had been shot and arrived to find the victim dead of an apparent gunshot wound to the head, police said.

Police have not released the name of the victim pending notification of relatives. The Orleans Parish Coroner will perform an autopsy.
