A New Iberia businessman has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography according to Attorney General Buddy Caldwell's office.

In a news release from his office, Caldwell says 51-year-old Philip deMahy has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of possessing pornography involving children.

DeMahy was arrested last year after state and federal agents say they found child pornography on the man's computer.

State District Judge Charles Porter has set deMahy's sentencing for April 4th.  He faces up to 10 years on each of the 10 counts.
