Man Robs Convenience Store On West Pinhook Road

Lafayette Police need your help trying to catch a man accused of robbing a convenience store in the 3400 block of West Pinhook Road early Friday morning.

Spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton says the clerk told officers it happened shortly after midnight when a black male suspect went inside the store with a white shirt covering his face and armed with a handgun, demanding and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as medium build and was wearing a white long sleeve shirt covered by a dark colored vest. If you have any information, call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

Lafayette Police now believe this is the same man that robbed a convenience store on Kaliste Saloom.
