Man Shot, Killed While Celebrating His Birthday

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A New Orleans man was shot and killed while out celebrating his birthday.

The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Tory Butler.

Police say Butler was shot outside of a bar Tuesday night celebrating his 30th birthday.

Investigators tell The Times-Picayune (http://bit.ly/O4GXfH ) an unidentified man walked up to Butler outside of the business and opened fire on him. Butler was shot multiple times and died on the scene. The suspect fled the area on foot.

Police have not identified a suspect or motive in the shooting.
