Man Slain In Marrero Shooting
MARRERO, La. (AP) — Jefferson Parish sheriff’s deputies are investigating an overnight fatal shooting in Marrero.
Sheriff’s spokesman Glen Boyd says deputies responded to a call of shots around 11 p.m. Wednesday and found a man lying on the ground in an empty lot with multiple bullet wounds.
Boyd said the victim pronounced dead on the scene.
Authorities did not immediately release the man’s name or age.
