A contract worker at a Sulphur petrochemical facility pleaded guilty today to using a fake access pass in an attempt to gain access to a secured facility.

Cristobal Vargas Zambrano, 32, attempted to use a fake transportation worker identification credential, or TWIC, card to enter Westlake Petrochemicals in Sulphur on August 14, 2014.

He faces up to five years in prison, three years supervised release and a $250,000 fine following his sentencing on June 29.
