Man Wanted For Armed Robbery In Texas Arrested In New Iberia

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office reports that a man wanted for two counts of armed robbery in Denton, Texas was arrested in New Iberia Wednesday afternoon.

Captain Ryan Turner says deputies arrested Jamal F. Bob on the outstanding warrants when they found his car at Highway 182 and Darby Lane during an investigation.

Deputies were able to take Bob into custody without incident.

The man had been considered armed and dangerous.

He was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
