Man With Air Gun Arrested In Iberia Parish For Attempted Armed Robbery

Iberia Parish Sheriff's officials say they have arrested a man after someone called them to report they say a man on Admiral Doyle Drive armed with a handgun.

Deputies found out that a man was seen wearing a red bandanna that covered up his face.  He was also wearing a hoodie.  Someone found in the man as suspicious because he was seen near businesses in that area with a gun.

The suspect, 26-year-old Kevin Joseph Guillory, was then arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery.

Deputies were able to locate his weapon which turned out to be an air gun.  Guillory was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail.
